Social Media Strategist

Salary Range: $70,000–$95,000 annually (DOE) + bonus eligibility
Work Schedule: M–F, 9am–6pm CT; occasional evenings/weekends for launches

Overview

Fresh Content Society is a social media–first agency that builds communities and drives measurable growth across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook. We combine strategy, content, community management, influencer programs, and paid social to deliver ROI for brands.

Responsibilities

  • Own social strategy across assigned accounts—goals, channel mix, content pillars, and KPI framework.
  • Lead quarterly/annual planning and monthly optimizations grounded in data.
  • Translate insights into briefs for creative, community, influencer, and paid teams.
  • Build test-and-learn roadmaps (creative, audiences, posting cadences, formats).
  • Present strategy and results to client stakeholders with clear next steps.
  • Track competitive and platform trends; advise on algorithm shifts and opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in social media strategy at an agency or brand.
  • Proven success launching multi-platform programs (TikTok, Instagram Reels/Stories, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, X, Facebook).
  • Strong analytics literacy (Sprout, native platform analytics, GA4, Looker, or similar).
  • Excellent client communication and deck-building skills.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with influencer programs and integrated paid social plans.
  • Industry background in CPG, QSR, franchise/multi-location, or automotive.
